Maersk reorganises globally, makes Hong Kong Asia-Pacific headquarters

　　WITH the reorganisation of Maersk Line, the world's biggest container shipping company will now make its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Hong Kong with the integration of the North Asia Region, while creating subordinate "clusters" in the regions.
　　Organisational changes may cause the global personnel reduction by 4,000 by the end of 2017. Throughout the process Maersk Line is working to minimise redundancies through natural attrition, the company said.
