New general strikes to close Greek container ports for 48 hours
A NEW 24-hour general strike in Greece Thursday started February 4 by both public and private sector union s, while the Seamen's union is scheduling a 48 hour strike for the same day.
The action is expected to affect the routes of domestic and local ferries and commercial vessels calling at Piraeus, Aspropyrgos, Eleusis, Pachi and Megara ports for cargo discharging.
